The WADI Divemaster course is your first step into professional diving. It builds advanced diving skills, strong leadership abilities, and the confidence to supervise dive activities and assist instructors. This program turns experienced divers into capable, responsible leaders ready to guide others safely underwater.

Requirements

  • • Be 18 years old or older.
  • o Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
  • o Advanced Scuba Diver certification (or equivalent)
  • o Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent)
  • o CPR & First Aid completed within the last 24 months
  • • Have at least 60 logged dives to start and 100 dives to certify.
  • Junior Divemaster Option (Ages 15–17): Must hold WADI Advanced Open Water Diver + WADI Rescue Diver and have 60 logged dives. Additional training is required at age 18 to upgrade to a full Divemaster.

The WADI Divemaster course pushes your diving abilities beyond recreation and into the professional world. Throughout this program, you develop advanced dive theory, practical leadership, problem-solving skills, and situational awareness.
You’ll learn through workshops, discussions, real-world scenarios, and practical in-water training guided by highly qualified WADI instructors using the latest interactive learning methods.

The course strengthens your confidence, underwater performance, communication style, environmental awareness, and ability to support both instructors and candidates. You’ll also refine your personal attributes—professionalism, patience, adaptability, observation skills, and responsible decision-making.

By the end, you become a dependable diving leader capable of enhancing safety, inspiring others, and contributing to the success of any diving centre.
