Introducing the WADI Advanced Diver Course, a comprehensive program designed to elevate your diving skills and expand your underwater horizons. This advanced certification allows you to delve deeper into the underwater world, reaching depths of up to 30 meters. With a focus on safety and skill development, this course offers a thrilling and enriching experience for divers seeking new challenges and greater exploration.
You could attend the Advanced Scuba Diver course straight after your entry-level training or have some prior diving experience.
Perhaps you've come to update your diving skills after a long absence. The training will broaden your horizons with at least six dives that will introduce you to a variety of diving activities.
Not only will you improve your general diving skills with each dive, but you will also improve your ability to plan and execute safe and entertaining dives, and you will get more familiar not only with specialised equipment but also with your general diving gear. As your diving skills improve, you will assume more responsibility for your dives.
This is the right course for you if you are a new diver and want to gain more experience, improve your diving skills, learn about new diving spots and have fun.
You should also take the WADI Advanced Scuba Diver Course if you are new to diving or already have certification from another organisation and want to become WADI-certified.
This course is intended for divers who have already passed the WADI Open Water Diver course or have similar training or experience from other recognised training organisations.
It is a continuing education course for divers who want to learn more about diving.
This course includes a minimum of 5 open-water dives.
In this course, you will review basic skills again and learn a lot about the surrounding areas, how to navigate underwater, advanced dive planning, and staying safe while diving.
This course will include an introduction to some of the following topics:
1. Deeper diving
2. Underwater navigation.
3. Night diving or in limited visibility.
4. Boat diving.
5. Introduction to rescue.
6. Search and recovery.
7. Exploration and dive mapping.
8. Non-penetration wreck diving.
9. Drift diving
10. Introduction to side mounting diving.
Upon successful completion of the course and qualification, you will be recognised as a WADI Advanced Diver. You can plan dives and undertake underwater missions similar to those taught in training. You can also enrol in all WADI Specialty Diver classes, the WADI Master Scuba Diver course, and the WADI Rescue Diver course.
Although you will learn about some of the more specialised parts of diving, you will not get enough training to be an expert. However, the benefit is that you will learn about the specialisations that interest you and can attend WADI speciality courses and classes at that stage.
